RN - Infusion

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts scheduled either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Block scheduling type
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 12 weekend shifts per contract required
• Average daily census of 32 patients with 12 beds on unit
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Treat patients with hematology and oncology diagnoses as well as non-oncology conditions including asthma/allergy, GI, rheumatology, and MS
• Perform port accessing and IV placement procedures
• Utilize Omnicell medication system and document in Cerner and Intellidose
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, antibiotics, and other infusion therapies
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and infusion pumps
• 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Cerner experience preferred but not required
• Any color scrubs acceptable; scrubs not provided
• Required certifications: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate
• OCN certification preferred
• Orientation consists of 3 to 4 shifts with a preceptor
