Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day schedule
• Weekend requirement included
• On-call requirement 10/12 days per month, includes weekends
• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians
• Provide patient care while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation
• Perform cardiac and interventional procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Prepare and orient patients to procedures to be performed
• Operate imaging equipment, computer and other department equipment
• Maintain radiation protection for patients, staff and self
• Prepare and maintain written or computerized documentation
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness in work area
• Provide coverage after normal hours of operation on an on-call basis
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
• Required certifications: ARRT, New Mexico State licensure, BLS certification from AHA, ACLS certification from AHA
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduation from accredited radiologic technology program required
• One year radiologic experience preferred
• Thorough knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology preferred
