Respiratory Therapist Job in Greenville, SC

Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment in Greenville, SC. This is a night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 3x12 schedule with an every-other-weekend requirement. The assignment runs for 91 days, beginning September 21, 2026, with weekly pay of $1,932.

About the Role

You will provide respiratory care across adult and geriatric patient populations in a Trauma Level I facility. Your responsibilities include managing all adult respiratory modalities, ventilator management, treatments, and transports. You may be required to float to other units or campuses as needed, limited to areas where you hold documented competencies.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Trauma Level I facility experience
• Proficiency in adult critical care work settings
• Extubation, nasal airway placement, suctioning, oral airway placement, oral suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care
• Experience administering medications including albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, inhaled steroids, Isuprel, lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, terbutaline sulfate, tobramycin, and Xopenex
• Proficiency with aerosol setups (mask and trach), Medihaler, and Metered Dose Inhaler delivery methods
• Experience with handheld, T-piece, and trach collar nebulizers
• High flow nasal cannula and trach collar oxygen therapy administration
• BiPAP and CPAP management, high pressure alarm troubleshooting, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Servo U ventilator equipment operation
• 1 year of Epic EMR experience

Certifications and Licensure

• Active RRT South Carolina license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• RRT certification

Please note: The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
