Electrophysiology Technician Job in San Antonio, TX

Methodist Hospital Westover Hills in San Antonio is seeking an Electrophysiology Technician for a 13-week travel contract. You will work in a dedicated CCL/EP/NICL unit with 2 procedure rooms, supporting a team-based environment where patient care is delivered by 4 team members per room—typically 2 RNs and 2 techs.

Role Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist with left heart catheterization (LHC), complete heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), chronic total occlusion (CTO), peripheral intervention, electrophysiology (EP), and implant procedures
• Operate Philips/GE combo lab equipment, including Azurion Maclab and Cardo systems
• Support temporary pacing and advanced mechanical support devices
• Use Meditech Expanse EMR system for documentation and workflow
• Participate in rotating on-call weekends as required

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with Impella, IABP, Shockwave, Inari, Penumbra, and ROTA devices
• Peripheral intervention and right heart catheterization experience

• Schedule: 4x10 days, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: October 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,596
• Hospital scrubs provided

Required Qualifications:

• Allied Health Professional credential
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
