CVOR RN Job in Martinsburg, WV

WVU Berkeley Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for a 91-week travel assignment in the Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Operating Room (CVOR). You will work rotating shifts in an acute care surgical setting, earning $3,084.48 weekly with a start date of October 19, 2026.

Role Overview

You will support cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases including CABG, valve repair and replacement (open and robotic), ECMO, lung resection, VATS, AAA repair, vascular interventions, and transplant procedures. You may be asked to float to other OR services. A charge person is available in the OR each day to support your work.

Scheduling & On-Call Requirements

• Rotating shifts with flexible communication about your availability and preferences
• Mandatory call: one night per week and one weekend per month
• 30-minute call response time required
• Housing available for on-call needs
• Holiday call coverage as needed
• Cancellation policy: two shifts per 13-week assignment; one shift for shorter assignments

Experience & Qualifications

• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Demonstrated experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery
• Travel experience strongly preferred
• Not open to new travelers or new clinicians

Facility Details

• One week of unit orientation provided
• Charting system: EPIC
• Ceil blue surgical scrubs supplied by facility
• 13-week contracts or longer available; direct hire and permanent opportunities also considered
