Med Surg RN Job in Pittsfield, MA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in Medical Surgical nursing at North Adams Regional Hospital in Pittsfield, MA. This is a temporary position lasting 91 days, beginning May 18, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 5x8 rotating shifts with every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Weekly pay: $2,592
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation included

Role Expectations

• You will float throughout the facility as assigned
• You must have 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience
• Telemetry experience is required
• You will be asked to complete a skills checklist for the Medical Surgical position (must be current within 1 year)

Required Certifications and Credentials

• BLS (AHA) certification—must be in hand at profile upload
• ACLS (AHA) certification—must be in hand at profile upload
• NIHSS certification—must be in hand at profile upload
• Valid Massachusetts RN license
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion is strongly required
• One supervisory signed reference from the past two years

Preferences and Skills

• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred

Important Scheduling and Logistics

• You must have your own vehicle for this assignment
• You must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Block scheduling and 48-hour guaranteed time are not available
• Maximum of 5 days requested time off will be accepted
• All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of assignment submission
• Personal scrubs of any color are required
