Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Belle Fourche, SD

Rolling Hills Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week travel assignment in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. You will work days, 36 hours per week, supporting patients in rehabilitation services.

Your Role

As a PTA, you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation care. Your responsibilities include:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Conduct patient exercises and therapeutic activities under PT supervision
• Monitor patient progress toward mobility and functional recovery goals
• Document patient responses to treatment and communicate updates to the therapy team
• Support patients in regaining strength, balance, and independence
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and proper equipment use

Who You Are

You hold a current Physical Therapist Assistant credential and maintain active licensure in South Dakota. You have experience in rehabilitation settings and understand the scope of PTA practice under physical therapist supervision.
