Infusion RN Job in Tulsa, OK

OU Health in Tulsa, OK is seeking an RN for its Oncology Infusion Clinic to join the adult patient care team. This is a 10-hour shift role, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend or holiday requirements. The assignment is 89 weeks, starting September 21, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy drugs, PO and SC injections, and other medications as ordered by the physician
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary to respond to patient changes
• Consult with medical personnel and provide expert information about chemotherapy side effects and management
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Monitor and note all changes in physician orders for assigned patients
• Assist the physician during conscious sedation procedures and minor diagnostic procedures
• Provide chemotherapy-related patient education to patients and families
• Conduct phone triage and follow-up calls with patients after clinic visits
• Schedule patient follow-up activities and assist with coordination of care, including obtaining referrals
• Interact with patients and families to share care plans during clinic visits and at discharge
• Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel

Requirements:

• RN license
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
