<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Tele Float Pool Stepdown</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Every other weekend requirement<br>• Float pool position covering MedSurg Tele and PCU across both campuses and inpatients holding in ED<br>• Nurse to patient ratios: PCU 1:4, MedSurg Tele 1:5-6<br>• Must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing contract (80% passing score required)<br>• Must have at least 1 year PCU setting experience<br>• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS<br>• Must be comfortable titrating drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin<br>• Must be able to interpret telemetry strips<br>• Care for geriatric patients, orthopedic patients, post-procedural patients, post MI, post Cardiac Cath, and CABG post-op day 3-4 patients<br>• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and Heated High Flow<br>• Unit assignments communicated 2 hours prior to shift start via text message<br>• Schedule published 6 weeks out for 4 weeks at a time, flexibility required<br>• Currently solid color professional scrubs required, changing to Navy scrubs in October<br>• 32-hour orientation including general hospital orientation, MedTele shift, and PCU shift<br>• Charting system: Cerner<br>• Distance between campuses approximately 20-25 minutes<br>• Included in holiday rotation with permanent staff</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This regional medical center operates across two campuses providing comprehensive acute care services.
