Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• 12-hour daylight shifts with start times of 6:00 AM-6:00 PM, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, or 8:00 AM-8:00 PM
• 3-2-2 rotating schedule between two teams
• Every other weekend requirement
• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
• No on-call or standby requirements
• Department operates with 3 ultrasound rooms/scanners
• Perform approximately 35 scans/studies per day
• Perform general ultrasound, OB, small parts, and vascular ultrasound studies including upper and lower venous and arterial imaging
• Must be able to assist in procedures and start IVs
• OB and arterial extremity doppler experience required
• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• EMR system: Cerner/Community Works; PACS system: Intellirad/Intelliconnect
• Department equipment: Siemens S2000
• Orientation consists of 5 shifts with a preceptor
• May wear any color scrubs as long as they are clean and professional
• Required certifications: ARDMS and/or RVT, BLS
• West Virginia state license required
• BSN not required
