ED Registered Nurse Job in Crescent City, CA

Job Details:

• 5 years of emergency room experience required
• Travel experience required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend coverage required
• 3 weekend shifts per week
• Self-scheduling system
• 24-hour orientation period
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be AHA certified)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 12-bed emergency department with daily census of 50-70 patients
• Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line management, IV sedation, emergency medications, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, procedural sedation, and triage
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Valid state license required at time of submission
• Non-billable modules averaging 1-5 hours completed during orientation
