Echo Technologist Job in Roseburg, OR

CHI Mercy Health Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, OR is seeking an Echo Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. This is a day shift position running 5x8 from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with weekly pay of $2,951. Start date is October 5, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Conduct outpatient and inpatient stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms
• Perform low-volume pediatric echocardiograms in both settings
• Execute two-dimensional and M-mode echocardiography with color flow Doppler per IAC standards
• Perform pulsed and continuous wave echo Doppler
• Take accurate measurements and calculations of echo and Doppler recordings
• Set up and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms
• Manage digital archival and retrieval of studies
• Inject echo contrast agents and acquire corresponding images
• Complete required paperwork and time-out reporting per department and Joint Commission standards
• Complete 6–7 exams per 8-hour shift
• Rotate on-call and standby with other technologists, with call response time of 30 minutes

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• RDCS with Adult Echocardiography (AE) certification via ARDMS
• Prior experience performing adult transthoracic echocardiograms
• Experience with stress echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echocardiograms, and pediatric echocardiograms preferred

Facility Details

This acute care setting operates Philips Epic and Philips IE 33 ultrasound machines, Meditech EMR, and Merge PACS. Scrubs are required; the department provides them, though personal scrubs are acceptable with no specific color requirement. Weekend on-call rotates equitably; no scheduled weekend shifts.
