CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• 13-week travel contract
• 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• ARRT certification required
• West Virginia license required
• BLS certification required (must be through American Heart Association)
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Treats patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Block scheduling type
• Skills required include: 3D rendering (maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, volume rendering), abdomen without and/or with contrast, chest without and/or with contrast, head without and/or with contrast, pelvis without and/or with contrast, musculoskeletal trauma, myelography, vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), preparation and/or administration of contrast media, PACS, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, venipuncture, intravenous pyelogram, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
