ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Rotating shift schedule with hours of 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, prescheduled in advance
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required between multiple sites
• Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
• 3+ years of emergency room nursing experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Respiratory care and blood testing completed by nurse
• Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services and radiology
• Skills include triage, IV placement and maintenance, phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG/ECG, blood product administration, arterial line management, central line care, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP management, procedural sedation, management of dysrhythmias, care of ventilated patients, and management of behavioral health conditions
