Physical Therapist Job in Largo, FL

You will deliver skilled physical therapy services in home health settings across the St. Pete/Largo area. This is a 5x8 day shift role with a 140-day contract starting May 18, 2026. You'll earn $2,352.96 per week.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct 6–8 home skilled visits per day (minimum 6 points daily at manager discretion)
• Self-schedule visits and hours based on office needs
• Work 1–2 weekends per contract
• Provide assessment, gait training, home exercise programs, and patient/family education
• Treat adult and geriatric populations with med/surg, cardiac, ortho, post-surgical, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, CVA, falls, weakness, Parkinson's, respiratory, neuro, trach, trauma, and amputation conditions
• Implement safety protocols and equipment usage guidance
• Complete documentation in BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet systems

Required Qualifications

• Current Florida state license or compact license (required at time of submittal)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience with home health experience required
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for home visits
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility location

You will wear any solid color scrubs. This role places you directly in patient homes, delivering rehabilitation services and education to help your patients regain function and independence.
