Medical Lab Technician Job in Tahlequah, OK

Cherokee Nation W. W. Hastings Hospital is seeking a Medical Lab Technician for a travel assignment in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. This is a night shift role working Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with 10-hour shifts. The assignment runs for 89 days, beginning July 6, 2026, with weekly compensation of $1,859.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience
• Current registration as a Laboratory Technician with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• Hands-on experience with Cerner Millennium electronic health record system
• Proficiency with Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzer
• Chemistry instrument and Vitros analyzer experience
• Blood bank laboratory experience
• Pediatric laboratory experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required (must have current certification in hand at start)
• Phlebotomy skills preferred but not required

Facility and Logistics:

You will work in a hospital laboratory setting at a Joint Commission-accredited facility serving the Tahlequah community. Dress code requires solid-color scrubs; Hunter Green is the preferred color (Maroon and Royal Blue are not permitted).
