Cath Lab Technologist Job in El Paso, TX

You'll work as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist on a 13-week contract assignment at Del Sol Medical Center El Paso. This is a full-time role offering day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend on-call responsibilities.

About the Role

You'll support a busy cardiac catheterization unit with 3 Cath Labs, 1 EP Lab, and 1 Hybrid Lab. Your responsibilities include assisting with cardiac diagnostic procedures, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), Impella support, peripheral vascular angiography and angioplasty, electrophysiology studies, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) management, thrombectomy, and device implants. You'll maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and use the Meditech EMR system.

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cath Lab experience is mandatory—candidates without this experience will not be considered
• RCIS or RCES certification preferred but not required

What to Expect

You'll wear royal blue scrubs and work within a structured 5×8 day schedule. The assignment runs for 91 days beginning October 12, 2026, offering you stability and predictable hours in a specialized cardiac environment.

Compensation
