Interventional Radiology RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) RN for a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4x10 days: 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 7:30 AM–6:00 PM based on operational need
• 36 hours per week with one weekday off
• Occasional Saturday shifts (1–2 times per month) and possible holiday requirements
• Call shifts averaging 4–5 per month
• Weekly pay: $2,592

Role Responsibilities

You will provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing conscious sedation and general anesthesia. You will work across 5 angiography rooms, 2 CT scanners, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine departments, supporting both outpatient and inpatient populations, including critical care and telemetry patients.

Case types include body IR (chemoembolization, Y-90, gastrojejunal tube placement, IVC filters, vascular access, angiograms, CT-guided biopsy, ablations, ultrasound biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis) and neuro endovascular procedures including stroke treatment.

Required Experience & Certifications

• Neuro IR experience and Level I Trauma experience required
• IR RN certification required; ICU RN with IR experience will be considered
• Telemetry and ventilator experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to start (2 attempts allowed)
• Day 1 pass/fail SIMs Lab covering Foley catheter insertion, central line dressing changes, and sterile field competency
• 2-shift floor-specific orientation provided

• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
• Charting system: Cerner
• Natural hair color required; no facial piercings permitted
• Men must be clean shaven for fit test
• BSN not required
• Scrubs supplied by facility
