Operating Room RN Job in Winston Salem, NC

Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a 13-week travel contract. You will work 12-hour night shifts with no call requirement and no float obligation.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute OR experience required; applicants out of acute OR for more than 6 months will not be considered
• Travel experience required
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate—this is a hard requirement
• Current BLS certification required
• Recent management roles disqualify applicants

Experience Priorities:

You must demonstrate strong experience in at least 2 of the following specialties:

• Neuro/Neuro Spine (1st priority)
• Ortho/Ortho Spine (2nd priority)
• Vascular (3rd priority)
• Robotics (4th priority)

Additional specialties include Urology, Podiatry, Oncology GYN, General Surgery, ENT, and Plastics. You will care for patients across adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations.

Unit Overview:

The operating room handles approximately 45 cases per day across 17 operating rooms. Unit systems include PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR, staff meetings, and a communication board. You will receive a minimum 36-hour orientation (3 days) in addition to Epic training.

Compensation & Logistics:

Weekly pay is $1,846.80. Your contract begins July 20, 2026, for 91 days. Scrubs are provided in Ceil Blue.
