PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work in a 40-bed PACU unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Float within peri-anesthesia areas including Endoscopy, PreOp, and Phase II
• 6-week scheduling cycles with 3 call shifts required within each 6-week period
• HUC available from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with 4 PCTs scheduled daily assigned to specific pods
• PCTs can draw labs, perform catheterizations, and transport patients
• Document using Cerner electronic health records system
• Utilize standard PACU equipment including ventilator monitoring
• Trauma experience and pediatric experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Required dress code: Surgical green or navy scrubs
