Med Surg RN Job in Albany, GA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical-Surgical unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. This is a 119-day travel assignment starting April 27, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,102.40.

Schedule and Shift Details

• 3x12 night shifts per week
• Saturday and Sunday only schedule with every other weekend requirement
• On-call availability for low census situations
• Holiday rotation shared with permanent staff
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks

Clinical Responsibilities

• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Float assignments to Ortho, Neuro, Oncology, and Acute Care units as needed
• Must remain flexible with changing assignments during shifts
• Telemetry monitoring across different units
• Experience with BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and Draeger ventilators
• Work within MEDITECH electronic medical record system

Requirements and Credentials

• Current RN license
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• 2 years of nursing experience with 1 travel assignment, OR 4 years of experience without travel
• Reside within a 75-mile radius of Albany
• BSN not required
