Certified Surgical Technologist OR Job in Bad Axe, MI

McLaren Thumb Region is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for operating room support on a temporary assignment in Bad Axe, Michigan. This role runs for 91 days, beginning September 21, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 5x8 day shift (Monday–Friday, standard business hours)
• Weekly pay: $1,686
• On-call responsibilities required—up to 10 shifts per month
• Weekend on-call coverage required

Your Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and other medical professionals in operating rooms and similar environments
• Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for pending surgical procedures
• Assist during surgical procedures as part of the surgical team
• Respond to on-call assignments as scheduled

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NBSTSA certification (mandatory)
• Experience in Orthopedics, OB-GYN, and General Surgery preferred
