X-Ray Technician Job in Lapeer, MI

McLaren Lapeer Region is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work the night shift, 4 days per week at 10 hours per shift, starting June 29, 2026.

About the Role

As an X-Ray Technician, you will operate specialized imaging equipment to capture high-quality radiographic images of patients' internal anatomy. You'll work directly with patients and clinical teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Your imaging expertise helps physicians identify injuries, detect disease, and guide patient care decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic imaging machines using computer-driven technology
• Position patients safely and correctly for optimal image quality
• Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information
• Communicate with patients to ensure comfort and compliance
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 4x10 night shifts (every other weekend required)

Requirements

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray technician experience
• Valid driver's license
• Background check and drug screening required

Compensation
