Med Surg RN Job in Duncan, OK

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in Medical Surgical care at Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, Oklahoma. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting May 21, 2026, with 3x12-hour night shifts and guaranteed 36 hours per week at $1,658.88 weekly.

Role Details

• Night shift patient ratio of 1:5; day shift ratio of 1:4; weekend ratio of 1:4-5
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No call responsibilities
• Float duties as needed across the unit
• 30 hours of orientation provided

Patient Care

You'll care for patients with diagnoses including CHF, pneumonia, stroke, orthopedic conditions, and post-delivery care. The unit is mixed adult-pediatric, so you must be willing to work with all age groups from neonates to geriatrics. You'll handle feeding tube care and management, IV therapy, and phlebotomy.

Requirements

• 2 years of Med Surg experience
• Current Oklahoma license or compact state license
• BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• ACLS and CPI certifications preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred but not required
• Meditech charting system experience preferred

What We're Looking For

You cannot have a blocked schedule and must be able to start as soon as possible. First-time travelers are welcome. You'll wear blue scrubs as required by nursing staff policy.
