Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients in the emergency department
• 2 years of ED experience required
• Weekend rotation every third weekend (every weekend optional)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, BLS (AHA)
• ENPC certification accepted in place of PALS
• Michigan nursing license required
• Participate in patient and family teaching
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in clinical setting
• Ensure patient rights and privacy are protected
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards as defined by ANA Code for Nurses
• Comply with regulatory agency standards including AOA, HCFA, and MIOSHA requirements
• Demonstrate individual competence in nursing practice and accept responsibility for actions and judgments
