ED RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for a 6-month travel assignment in the Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital emergency setting, working collaboratively with the ED medical team to manage patients across all acuity levels.

Assignment Details

• Location: Des Moines, IA
• Facility: MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center
• Duration: 6 months (182 days)
• Start Date: June 29, 2026
• Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, nights (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Weekly Pay: $2,342.34

Your Role

As an ED RN, you will deliver emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations with varying acuity levels. You will assess patients, implement treatment plans, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary emergency team. Your clinical judgment and ability to remain calm under pressure are essential in this dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Iowa
• Emergency Department experience required
• Valid ID and background clearance
