Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities required with 30-minute response time
• Maximum of 14 on-call days per 30-day schedule
• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment in IR, Vascular Hybrid, and Neuro-interventional settings
• Work in conjunction with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists
• Prep patients for procedures and demonstrate sterile technique
• Prepare necessary supplies and equipment for procedures
• Verify patient ID using 2 patient identifiers and verify written orders and consent
• Responsible for patient, family, and support system education including post-procedural home care instructions
• Transport patients as needed and provide privacy and comfort
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Interventional Special Procedures in IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid setting required
• High School Diploma, GED, or accredited Radiologic Technology program required
• Required certifications: One of the following - ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional (ARRT-CV), ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R), ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiology (ARRT-VI), or Registered CVI Specialist (RCIS)
• BLS certification required upon hire (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• ACLS certification preferred upon hire
• Must demonstrate competency in all aspects of interventional and vascular procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Must have a strong understanding of anatomy and pathology and how they affect procedure quality
• Must be able to function independently during procedures after appropriate orientation and competency evaluation
