Med Surg RN Job in Ogallala, NE

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a medical-surgical position at Ogallala Community Hospital, located at 2601 N Spruce St in Ogallala, Nebraska. This is a 12-week assignment beginning June 29, 2026, offering you the opportunity to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week
• Weekly compensation: $2,310.30
• Assignment duration: 89 days
• Facility type: Community hospital

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a medical-surgical setting, including some postpartum care
• Perform complete patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans as needed
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately in medical records
• Coordinate care activities and supervise both licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Participate in patient and family education activities
• Manage discharge planning requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current, active Nebraska RN license
• Nebraska CPS/APS clearance
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
• Professional nursing certification
