Registered Nurse - Operating Room @ Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital - Nursing

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - OR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM with liver call responsibilities<br>• Perform other cases when no liver/transplant procedures scheduled<br>• 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule<br>• On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month<br>• Must have strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience<br>• Must be proficient in MISONIX/CUSA equipment<br>• Must have experience with organ implantation, not just harvesting<br>• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross ACLS, BLS (required at submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)<br>• 2 years of direct liver/transplant OR RN experience required<br>• 40-hour orientation period required<br>• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs<br>• Must be willing to participate in training students and new staff<br>• Scrub color: Ceil Blue<br>• Charting system: EPIC<br>• Must be nicotine free - negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen required<br>• EKG and Pharm tests required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts<br>• Time-sensitive modules averaging 6-15 hours must be completed pre-start</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This 230-bed short-term acute care facility is a teaching hospital that specializes in complex surgical procedures including organ transplantation. The facility maintains high standards with magnet designation and operates 18 operating rooms with a daily census of 55-60 patients.
