ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 16-bed Critical Care Unit (CCU) with maintained 1:2 patient ratios
• Scheduled to work every other weekend
• Float to Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care Unit for assignments, may float to Emergency Room for tasks or hold patients
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Must have critical care experience with advanced skills including ventilators, arterial lines, titration drips, post craniotomy care, and post cath lab patients
• Perform procedures including central line placement, arterial line placement, chest tubes, and intubation
• Utilize Phillips central monitoring equipment and Meditech documentation system
• Unit staffing includes 1 nurse per 2 patients with free charge nurse or tech support available
• Dress code requires royal blue or black scrubs
• Work in smaller facility environment with great team dynamics
