Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3x12 schedule (three 12-hour shifts per week)
• Patient ratio of 4:1 on all shifts
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float within skillset as needed
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Triage experience required (hard stop)
• Within past 8 months, must have worked in an ED setting with at least 45,600 visits per year (125/day)
• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required (hard stop)
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Charge experience preferred
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, phlebotomy, IV management, and triage
• Expert prioritization and organizational skills required to manage fast ER pace
• 40-bed emergency department with daily census of 130 visits
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
