ED RN Job in Longview, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department at CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center Longview. This is a full-time position running 91 days, beginning June 15, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour night shifts (8:00 PM to 8:00 AM)
• Weekly pay: $1,971
• Duration: 91 days

Your Responsibilities

You will provide routine and complex nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Your duties include assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments according to protocol, and monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness. You will document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and all care provided. You will also address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, assess their learning needs, and provide appropriate education.

You will practice independently, demonstrate awareness of all relevant clinical situations, make appropriate care assignments, and delegate tasks to other care providers as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current Texas RN License or compact license
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred

Onboarding

You will attend New Nurses Orientation within your first 30 days and complete designated organizational and Emergency Department-specific competency validations. You must also complete all annual competency verification requirements.
