MRI Technologist Job in Gainesville, FL

UF Health Shands Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Gainesville, Florida. You will work 8-hour evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, on a block schedule.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and treatment MRI procedures
• Complete all ordered MRI exams in collaboration with the clinical team
• Float to all Gainesville MRI locations on campus as needed
• Function in a fast-paced clinical environment

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience, including hospital setting with critically ill patients
• Siemens MRI experience required: must have hands-on experience with Siemens XA and B platforms, including Avanto, Verio, Prisma, Aera, and Sola
• Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
• Current BLS certification

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
• Weekly Pay: $2,772
• Schedule: 5x8 evenings, Monday through Friday

Important Policies:

• Non-permeable shoes are not allowed
• No remote time off (RTO) permitted during the first 2 weeks of assignment
• Maximum of 8 days RTO allowed for the full 13-week contract
