<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PT - Physical Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• 2 years of Physical Therapy experience in long-term care (LTC) setting required<br>• Texas license or compact license required<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• No weekend requirements<br>• Perform patient evaluations through obtaining history, systems review, and administering specific tests and measures<br>• Establish individualized treatment plans with patient-centered goals to reduce pain and restore function<br>• Conduct ongoing reassessment of patients and their response to treatment<br>• Supervise and delegate to ancillary staff and students according to state laws and department policy<br>• Complete accurate and clear documentation within established timeframes<br>• Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members using AIDET principles<br>• Assess educational needs and provide appropriate patient/family education<br>• Participate in professional development through educational programs and current literature review<br>• Actively participate in quality improvement activities<br>• Maintain safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff while complying with safety standards<br>• Function within scope of practice as defined by state practice act</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization specializes in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services with a focus on helping patients restore function and prevent disability.
