NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• High risk Level III NICU position
• Facility will consider 36 or 48 hours per week
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required; 3 years preferred
• Previous travel experience required
• Self-scheduling
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float required to Pediatrics and Nursery
• Charting system: Cerner experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE; PALS preferred
• Required skills include but are not limited to: administration of blood and blood products, arterial line management, Bubble CPAP, central line care, high frequency ventilation, IV vasopressors, management of chest tubes, neonatal dosage calculations, therapeutic hypothermia, UAC/UVC management, and ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, and unit secretary
