<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>OT - OT</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Support Occupational Therapist in conducting therapy treatments to improve patients&#39; mobility and physical health<br>• Help patients perform exercises and treatment plans<br>• Monitor patient progress to ensure successful completion of treatment<br>• Encourage patients during their recovery process<br>• Help patients improve quality of life by finding solutions to their problems<br>• Assist injured employees improve motor skills with goal of re-entering workforce<br>• Teach patients with disabilities to become more independent<br>• Update patient records for the Occupational Therapist<br>• Maintain office, treatment room and equipment in good order<br>• Teach patients, family members and caregivers skills and techniques for treatment programs<br>• Record patient health progress and collect medical history or personal information<br>• No weekends required<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• 2 years of OT experience preferred<br>• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred<br>• COTA license required<br>• BLS (AHA) certification required<br>• Missouri state license required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This advanced care facility provides comprehensive occupational therapy services focused on helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
