Medical Lab Technician Job in Rhinelander, WI

Aspirus Rhinelander is hiring a Medical Lab Technician for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work 5x8 evening shifts with the opportunity for flexible scheduling across 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts covering days, evenings, and nights as needed.

What You'll Do

• Perform lab assistant and MLT duties, including phlebotomy, urinalysis processing, chemistry tests, and kit testing
• Manage blood bank responsibilities with strong phlebotomy skills
• Handle arterial blood gas (ABG) collection when required
• Float between Aspirus Rhinelander and nearby locations in Tomahawk, Eagle River, and Howard Young as prescheduled
• Chart in the Epic system

Schedule & Pay

Guaranteed 80 hours biweekly with overtime available after 80 hours in the second week. You'll rotate every other weekend and holidays. Low census call is possible with a minimum 2-hour callback requirement. Weekly pay is $2,202.

What We Need

• Current MLT, MT, or CLS certification (ASCP preferred but not required)
• Associate or bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3+ years of core lab experience with at least 1 travel assignment
• Strong phlebotomy and blood bank background
• ABG experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Ability to toggle between lab assistant and MLT responsibilities
• Flexibility to work various shift lengths and rotations

Contractor Requirements

You must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. Scrub color is your choice.
