X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call rotation required including weekends
• Float within scope to OR, Ortho, Fluoro, Inpatient, Outpatient and ER coverage
• Perform radiographic procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology
• Apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in adult and/or pediatric radiology
• Work with minimum supervision demonstrating technical competency and initiative
• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), BLS, CPR
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency - facility does not provide
• Fluoroscopy and OR experience required
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• Work with Phillips and Toshiba equipment
• Treat patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment possible from June through November
