RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Provide direct patient and family support and nursing care within full scope of practice
• Participate in development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of patient programs and services
• Conduct observation data collection, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients' needs
• Address patients' physical, psychological, emotional, educational and spiritual needs
• Follow individualized and ongoing plan of care for each patient
• Work collaboratively as member of interdisciplinary team
• Care for primarily surgical patients including joint replacements, hip fractures, open abdominal surgeries, neck and back surgeries
• Also provide care for some medical patients
• Block schedule cannot be guaranteed but accommodation will be attempted when possible
