Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM with on-call requirements
• 13-week assignment with 72 hours guaranteed bi-weekly
• Open heart experience required
• Additional experience needed in orthopedic, neuro, DaVinci robot, general, gynecology, and podiatry procedures
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: CST certification, NBSTSA, and BLS
• Surgical assist in surgical cases, room turnover, stocking supplies, and taking call
• Cover other cases when no open heart surgeries are scheduled
• Work with 12-bed surgical unit with varying patient ratios
• Use Cerner EMR system
• 5-day orientation provided
• Blue scrubs provided on-site through Scrubex
• No floating to other units required
• Block scheduling not available
• Maximum 2 days of requested time off allowed
• Must live more than 50 miles from facility
