First Assist Technician Job in Danville, PA

You will work as a First Assist Technician in the operating room at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. This is a 92-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Three 12-hour shifts per week: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,495

Role Overview

You will support OR radiology procedures, operating fluoroscopy equipment and portable imaging devices during surgical cases. Your responsibilities include equipment setup, positioning, image quality assurance, and maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure safe and efficient imaging during surgery.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in operating room radiology
• Proficiency with GE OEC C-arms
• Proficiency with GE and Shimadzu portable equipment
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Allied Health Professional credential
