PCU Registered Nurse Job in Anniston, AL

RMC Anniston is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a 56-week travel assignment with a start date of July 6, 2026.

Shift and Schedule: You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week at $1,944 weekly pay. Weekend coverage is required with an every-other-weekend rotation. Time-off requests are limited to a maximum of 7 days during your assignment.

Clinical Responsibilities: You will maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 across days, nights, and weekends. Your duties include cardiac monitoring and emergency response, starting IVs, managing Heparin protocols, and administering cardiac drips without titration. You will float to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed, providing telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response and code team participation, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care and management, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions with appropriate PPE.

Required Qualifications: You must hold a current Alabama nursing license and maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required. Experience with electronic charting systems (any system) is necessary. This position accepts first-time travelers.

Orientation: Non-billable orientation modules will average 8 hours and occur during your initial onboarding period.
