<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work under direct supervision of a physical therapist to carry out individualized treatment plans<br>• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to assist in developing plans of care to promote optimal functional independence and safety<br>• Provide skilled physical therapy treatment including restorative and maintenance therapeutic techniques<br>• Conduct patient and caregiver education sessions<br>• Assess patient status and progress on each visit to ensure quality of care<br>• Coordinate patient care with clinical team members including physicians, nurses, caregivers, and other rehabilitation services<br>• Identify and report changes in patient conditions related to prescribed plan of care in a timely manner<br>• Communicate ongoing clinical and operational activities with Physical Therapists<br>• Complete and coordinate required paperwork in compliance with federal and state regulations<br>• Maintain documentation that reflects care provided and outcomes achieved<br>• Stay current with HHCAHPS standards and integrate them into visit protocols<br>• Enhance personal knowledge and promote standards in physical therapy<br>• Ensure all activities comply with organizational and departmental policies, standards of care, and APTA guidelines</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization provides comprehensive rehabilitation services with a focus on promoting optimal functional independence and safety for patients.
