ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• General emergency department experience with combined adult and pediatric patients required
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Additional preferred certifications: TNCC, ENPC
• Skills include blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, emergency medications, isolation precautions and PPE, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, starting and maintaining IVs, and triage
• Must have either a compact license or a Maryland nursing license
