Cath Lab Technologist Job in Margate, FL

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate, FL. This is a 4x10 day shift position running 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 91-day contract starting March 10, 2026. You will earn $2,628 per week.

Role Overview

You will support a 4-room cardiac catheterization laboratory, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio to ensure optimal patient care. The day shift team includes a Charge RN, Director, and 16 total staff members with 4 staff assigned per room. You will work with GE equipment across all rooms and use EMR systems including Meditech and MacLab.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterizations, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloons, and ENT lab procedures
• Provide scrubbing support during procedures
• Maintain competency with GE Innova equipment and Special Procedures
• Adapt to unit needs with flexibility and teamwork
• Support a close-knit team of 22 staff members consisting of RNs and Techs

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications
• RCIS certification preferred
• Competency with Special Procedures and GE Innova equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with critical thinking and patient care focus

Working Environment

You will work in a structured day shift environment with a defined team structure. On-call responsibilities exist but are managed by separate on-call teams (3 members per call team). Dress code requires red and gray scrubs in Cath and EP Labs, with unit scrubs available.
