Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment at CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus in Richmond, VA. This is a 91-day contract beginning March 30, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 4x10 days per week
• Call responsibilities for after-hours and weekend coverage

Role Overview

You will work in the Angiography and Special Procedures unit, supporting a high-volume neuro interventional radiology program. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians during neuro IR procedures, managing imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate patient records within the EMR system.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with neuro interventional radiology procedures
• Operate Phillips and GE biplane imaging equipment
• Document procedures and patient data in Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with nursing staff and technologists to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols and infection control standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based technologist experience
• Documented experience with neuro IR procedures
• Current BLS certification
• Familiarity with Phillips and GE biplane equipment preferred

Work Environment

You will be part of a collaborative day-shift team consisting of 5 RNs and 4 technologists. Navy scrubs are required.

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,861.60
