Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN for its Cardiac Cath Lab in Rochester, NY. This is a 12-hour shift position with an 89-day assignment beginning August 3, 2026. You will earn $3,166.02 per week.

Schedule and Shift Details

The role offers 36 hours per week with flexible scheduling: 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts. Shift times are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. You will work weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge shifts as needed.

Clinical Responsibilities

You will provide pre- and post-procedural care in the holding area, caring for adult and pediatric cardiac patients in inpatient and outpatient procedural settings. You will work across 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs within a collaborative RN and CVT practice model.

Required Experience and Credentials

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Critical care or cardiac experience required
• Moderate sedation training required
• Dysrhythmia and telemetry experience required
• TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman experience
• Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever experience
• Mechanical Circulatory Support experience: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
• Structural Heart experience: TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• New York RN license required

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiovascular certification or RCES
• Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment
• EP Lab experience
