CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• 13-week contract
• 4x12 day shifts with every other weekend coverage
• 75-mile radius rule applies
• 2+ years of experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• CT Registry preferred with previous experience using Canon/Toshiba CT equipment
• Cerner EMR experience required
• IV starts required
• Required certifications: ARRT CT (preferred), ARRT R, BLS, and West Virginia license required prior to start
• Perform CT imaging procedures including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal studies with and without contrast
• Perform advanced imaging including brain perfusion, carotid studies, cardiac imaging, vascular chest studies, and enterography
• Conduct 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Perform multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest (ROI) measurements
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture
• Utilize PACS system and adhere to radiation safety protocols
• Apply isolation precautions and PPE as required
• Serve patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
