<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>OT - Therapy</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work Friday through Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM<br>• Call responsibilities required<br>• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program required<br>• Current OT License through the AZ Board of Occupational Therapy required<br>• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required<br>• AED certification through the American Heart Association required<br>• Recent experience (within past 6 months) working with adult and geriatric population required<br>• 2 years of OT experience in inpatient setting required<br>• Must be comfortable with MER documentation using Meditech<br>• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and screenings<br>• Develop individualized plans of care with functional goals<br>• Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions<br>• Document patient care progress and continuing treatment needs<br>• Provide patient and family education to achieve goals<br>• Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify plans as necessary<br>• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities<br>• Assist with orientation of new staff and student programs<br>• Complete billing by end of each shift meeting regulatory requirements<br>• Maintain productivity standards and patient satisfaction levels<br>• Must have ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization focuses on providing exceptional clinical care and patient service through an environment that fosters respect and pride in performance.
