Cath Lab Technologist Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 4x10 shifts, days from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with weekend requirements and on-call duties of 10–12 days per month.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures as directed by physicians
• Operate imaging equipment, computers, and departmental instrumentation with precision and care
• Prepare and orient patients for procedures, explaining steps and addressing concerns
• Provide patient care and radiation protection protocols throughout all procedures
• Maintain imaging equipment according to department and manufacturer specifications
• Perform point-of-care testing as required
• Maintain accurate written and computerized documentation per facility policy
• Participate in continuing education workshops and professional development programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
• One year of radiologic experience
• One year of interventional or cath lab experience preferred
• ARRT certification or Board eligible status
• New Mexico State licensure
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
